What if we brought the farm to the city?

When you live in the city, it’s not always easy to make the connection between the food on our plates and conditions under which it was harvested. Farming installed an interactive billboard in central London that allowed passersby to feed the farm’s pigs. Thanks to a smartphone app, people could “feed” the pigs by donating 1£ and launching an apple through a rather nifty apple shooter. An intelligent way to bring urbanites closer to the farm. Of course, this is not the first time that Londoners have interacted with a billboard before. Who could forget BEING London’s fabulous Caribbean Live billboard for British Airways in 2011?
