What if you could tag to your hearts content?

I just learned about ThingLink, an application that offers different innovative services.  Most importantly, I think, is that ThingLink lets you bring to life images that you spread online through a system of interactive tags. The tags are represented by little points that are superimposed on the image (see above).  Thus far, nothing too extraordinary, as this has already been done by brands like Ikea in their Facebook operation.

But ThingLink hasn’t stopped their: any object present in an image can be tagged with a descriptive that will appear when your mouse goes over the image and can link to a web site or other types of content (video, music, etc).

ThingLink is a great way to give visibility to the manufacturers of various objects in a way that is more meaningful and visible than simply banners.  Watch this space…
