What if we worked on a new projeqt?
Big news! TBWA/Worldwide has launched a gorgeous new site yesterday. If it looks a little sparse right now, that’s normal, in the next few weeks the site will be enriching itself with content from various agencies across the world. At the heart of the website is Projeqt — a Media Arts initiative that will live independently from the website. Technically speaking, Projeqt is a Content Management System designed to showcase creative projects as a slideshow. Projeqt was designed for HTML5 and thus can be displayed on iPhone and iPad. Each slide can be displayed as an image, a video, text and image or an RSS feed– these
slides are presentable in many different formats as well. “Projeqts” can also be password protected.
According to David Lee, Digital Executive Creative Director at TBWA\Worldwide, who was at the origin of the project : “Projeqt came out of the brief for the new TBWA\Worldwide site. We wanted to conceive of a way not only to create a site that showcases TBWA’s creative process but also that renders service to the entire creative community. We didn’t want to create a brochure for the agency or a blog, but a real service that everyone can use and appreciate.”
