What if we were stupid more often?


Louis Pauwels, an acclaimed French journalist once said: “The right to make mistakes, be stupid or crazy, ought to be sacred”.  This astute statement has been echoed by Diesel in its newest campaign that is everything but stupid (to see other campaign visuals go to the amazing publigeekaire blog, here).  By opposing a “stupid” attitude to a “smart” one, Diesel opposes the right brain to the left, thought to reflection, creativity to conformity, surprise to ennui, spontaneity to self-censure.  A fantastic way to remind us that geniuses are those who have retained their ability to act and to think differently (just as the famous Apple ad below reminds us, of which I will never tire 😉 ).
