What if Twitter picked the Super Bowl ad winner?
If the analysis of the over 400,000 tweets from BrandBowl2012 is to be believed, Doritos was the brand that got the most positive buzz on Twitter. The two spots from the brand’s annual “Crash the Super Bowl” contest that were featured in the TV line-up are “Slingshot Baby” (above) and “Man’s Best Friend” (below). USA Today reported that in a consumer panel, “Man’s Best Friend” was the highest ranked ad, along with VW’s “The Dog Strikes Back” and Sketcher’s Dog Racing ad featuring Mr. Quiggly– indeed, this year seemed very canine friendly.
