What if the ball stopped spinning?
This is the name of the latest post from a new (French language) blog called bex — an acronym for Brand Experience. A contributive website on brand experience, hosted by Martin Perraud Wolff, strategic planner at Auditoire, the events agency of TBWA\France.
Like the tire, the soccer ball is a seemingly simple object that in fact is technically very complicated—and one whose design changes from year to year. After the Jabulani, offical ball of the 2010 World Cup (presentation video above and manufacturing video available on the bex website), will the next soccer ball be equipped with an RFID microchip and a GPS, like in the below CTRUS project?
