What if social networks weren’t as young as we thought?
Seen on the Pingdom blog: infographics on the ages of Americans present on various social networks in 2012. The average age on Twitter is 37 years old; Pinterest and Facebook, 40; LinkedIn, 44. You can also find the numbers according to gender here (unsurprisingly, Pinterest is the most feminine). All in all, it’s a snapshot of social networking that must be weighted by a dynamic view of its evolution, and more importantly, of its frequency and mode of usage.
