What if NASA took you on a 3D trip into space?

Nasa has just created a 3D environment called “Eyes on the Solar System” which allows users to navigate throughout the solar system in 3D thanks to available technology on Macs and PCs!  To take part, you need only download the webplayer, by clicking here (don’t forget to go into full screen mode to get the optimal experience).  You can view areas in space from just about anywhere and accelerate time to understand the movement of the sun, planets, their satellites, and even space vessels, like Juno, recently launched on a 5 year mission going to Jupiter.  According to NASA’s Jim Green: “this is the first time the public can discover the solar system and ongoing space missions, in real time.” Amazing!
