What if logos came to life?
The video below is the preview for an exceptional 16 minute long short film which was a revelation at Cannes in 2009, and preselected for the Oscars. The preview appeared miraculously on the Net for a few hours, before being taken down by Viméo. It took 6 years for François Alaux, Hervé de Crecy and Ludovic Houplain—members of Studio H5—to create and direct this impressive story made up of living logos, where Michelin men cops pursue a psychopathic Ronald McDonald who had taken the Haribo kid hostage. Like Avatar, it’s so well done, you don’t even see the time pass 😉 The making of is still available on the Baptiste Roynette’s blog (baptisteblog.com). Below, a few images to give you a taste for the video and to encourage you to watch it the next time you spend a little time online 😉
