What if coupons fluttered by?

The last thing you would associate with couponing would be elegant, fun and exciting– there is very little inherently sexy about this form of marketing. So you can imagine my surprise when an old friend of mine showed me iButterfly, a new augmented reality cuponing application from Japan.
If you’re in a specific spot, an augmented reality butterfly will appear (see some butterfly options below), if you “catch” the butterfly, you get a coupon for a local business.  The butterflies are quirky and beautiful, and you can even share them with friends.  How cool is this?
